Work Readiness

Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce’s Work Readiness Certificate 

The Work Readiness Certificate (WRC) is offered to eligible LAH3C Participants through a collaboration with the Los Angeles Area Chamber Of Commerce. Candidates for the WRC participate in a “Mock Interview” by healthcare professionals. Mock Interview panelist(s) who will carefully evaluate each individual based on their interviewing skills, professional attire, and overall presentation. All WRC participants receive valuable feedback to improve their resume, interviewing skills and overall work readiness.  Recipients of the WRC are certified by the LA  Area Chamber of Commerce as meeting required skills to enter the workforce.

In order to be a WRC candidate, participants must:

  • Score 80% or higher on the Basic Math and Customer Service Quizzes
  • Resister for “Mock Interview” dates
  • Attend “Mock Interviews” and be ready to interview (dress professionally, bring copies of their resume)
